Protests:
People started to protest the war. they would make posters and signs to show their defiance against the war. Some people even made movie posters to show they wanted the war to end. this was also the time where the Hippie Movement took off. The famous saying, "Make Love, Not War," was on posters and shirts. A lot of the protesting happened on college campuses, because college kids were a bit influence in America, since they would become the next generation of adults. it got so out of hand that police started to beat any of the protestors, and they would jail them.

Rolling Thunder:
Rolling Thunder was the longest bombing campaign, from 1965-1968. But it didn't achieve very much strategic result, because of how much time they took between bombings, it gave the North a little bit of time to recover. Missions were also used to demonstrate, not destroy, which also gave the North to recover and infiltrate the South. the North was also able to take cover in the more dense forest, which also made it very difficult for the US to strategically bomb them.
